Zone Equipment
Clicking the Zone Equipment button will expand the list of components available for the system type that is being created. Only available zone equipment will be populated in the zone equipment list.
Zone equipment is assigned directly to the zone. Zone equipment may include coils and fans. The configuration of coils and fans in zone equipment cannot be changed in the Systems library. These will need to be edited in the specific equipment libraries. Properties for the chosen library can be viewed by clicking the properties button at the bottom of the screen.
Fan Coil Unit
The four pipe fan coil contains a cooling coil, heating coil, and fan. See equipment library for more details.

Packaged Terminal HP

Energy Recovery Ventilator
The energy recovery ventilator is used to recover energy between the supply or outside air and the exhaust air. It consists of an air to air heat exchanger, supply fan, and exhaust fan. See equipment library for more details.

Radiant Heat

Dehumidifier DX
The DX dehumidifier contains a DX cooling coil and a fan used to condense moisture out of the air. The compressor heat from the cooling coil is used to reheat the cooled, dehumidified air. See equipment library for more details.

Variable Refrigerant Flow
The variable refrigerant flow equipment models a DX indoor unit that is connected to an outdoor condensing unit. The unit can operate in cooling, heating, or simultaneous cooling and heating. This equipment is only available in the Variable Refrigerant Flow System pattern in the Variable Air Volume system category. See equipment library for more details.
